Description

This image began with a piece of a discarded drawer. After painting it with green nail polish and glitter glue, I used pieces cut from an old magazine to create a collage. The vase was a perfume bottle and the petals were folds from a red silk dress. The leaves were just shapes I cut from a page printed in green, yellow and white. The image presented here is further modified, thought still clearly recognizable as the piece hanging on my wall. A photo of the collage was heavily "painted" and textured using digital photo editing software.
