Equus Ferus Caballus is one of my favorite species in the animal kingdom.
Silverado was found among pure breed stallions in Medellin, Colombia where raising horses is part of our national culture.
Horse breeds are loosely divided into three categories based on general temperament: spirited "hot bloods" with speed and endurance; "cold bloods", such as draft horses and some ponies, suitable for slow, heavy work; and "warmbloods", developed from crosses between hot bloods and cold bloods, often focusing on creating breeds for specific riding purposes, particularly in Europe. There are more than 300 breeds of horse in the world today, developed for man...

Born in Cali, Colombia back in 1944. Barranquilla introduced Rafael to the world of arts amongst some of the most renowned Colombian artists from el "Grupo Barranquilla: during the La Cueva era. ~Rafael defies the assumption of his medium by employing techniques to push his images toward abstraction.~ He has always been ahead of the times...
